Michael Ceci

Mr. Ceci has been in leadership within the financial services industry for over 28 years. After graduating from San Diego State University in 1988, he started as an Agent and within 3 years, he was promoted to Partner and then Senior Partner in the San Diego General Office. In 1999, Mr. Ceci was promoted to the role of Managing Partner for the Reno General Office where he served for more than six years. In 2006, Mr. Ceci was promoted again to lead the General Office in Hawaii, which under his direction, culminated in one of the best performing years, Fullerton General Office. Mike was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California -- where his parents and siblings still reside. Mike has been married to Pattie over 25 with 5 wonderful children; Luc, twin boys Michael and Matthew, Nicole and Jonathan. Mike’s hobbies include playing saxophone in a church worship band, ice hockey, motorcycle riding and enjoying time with his family.

Sherry Lin is of Chinese descent born in South Korea.  She joined New York Life as an Agent in 2003, and joined the management team as a Partner in 2006. In 2009 was promoted to Senior Partner, becoming our second Senior Partner in the Fullerton General Office.  She graduated from National Chung Chi University in Taiwan where she majored in International Trade.  During the course of her New York Life career, she earned her Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation.  She has earned Series FINRA 6, 63, 7 and 24 securities licenses.  Sherry qualified for New York Life Executive Council in 2004 and 2005.   Prior to joining New York Life, she was a restaurant owner. Sherry is responsible for recruiting and developing financial professionals that provide services in the areas of retirement planning, college funding, estate planning, funding for buy/sell agreements, executive bonus plans, deferred compensation, Long Term Care planning and survivorship planning with the use of Life Insurance.  She is currently a board member of Diamond Bar Chinese American Association and Board member of Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County. Sherry enjoys the outdoors and golfing.  She and her husband Vincent reside in Chino Hills with their two boys, William and Michael.

 

Yuying "Meg" Jin

Meg started her career at New York Life as an Agent in 2012, and in January of 2016 she was promoted to Associate Partner at the Fullerton General Office. She graduated from Beijing Technical University in China where she majored in Metal Science, then traveled to Japan to study at the Kanazawa University Graduate School of Economics. Throughout her career at New York Life, Meg has earned her FINRA Series 6, 63 securities licenses, and the CLTC designation. Meg qualified for New York Life's Executive Council in 2014 and 2015. Prior to joining New York Life, Meg was a professional translator and interpreter, (fluent in Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, and English) for such organizations as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the FBI. As a Partner with New York Life, Meg is responsible for recruiting and developing financial professionals that provide services in the areas of retirement planning, college funding, estate planning, funding for buy/sell agreements, executive bonus plans, deferred compensation, Long Term Care planning, and survivorship planning with the use of Life Insurance. She is currently a member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP). Meg enjoys volunteering at her church, co-leading support groups with her husband.  She and her husband reside in San Gabriel with their dog Maru and cat Jack.

William is a native of Los Angeles growing up in the city of Downey. He joined New York Life in 2008 as an agent where he achieved 2 consecutive years as a council agent. He is responsible for assisting marketing and recruiting under New York Life’s Hispanic Cultural Initiative. As an actiive member in the Hispanic market, he assists other agents and registered reps maximize their market exposure in the areas of insurance, and investments. William is currently on the board on Rotary club of Downey, Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers his time at  OC Camp to Belong. He resides in Downey with his wife Kari, daughter Hermione and son Cruz.

Nazih Yehya joined New York Life as an agent in 2006; joined the management team in 2008.  He graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor in Business Administration and with a finance concentration.  During the course of his NYL career, Nazih earned his Life Underwriter Training Charter Fellow and Certified Long Term Care Planning Consultant.  Nazih qualified for Council 2007, 2008, 2014 and 2015.  He qualified for President Premier level in 2015.  Prior to joining New York Life he was the managing partner of Mimi Café Restaurant, in charge of opening new locations, hiring, training and oversee all restaurant functions.   Nazih is an Eagle Strategies Investment Adviser Representative, responsible for helping out in recruiting and developing financial professionals that provide financial planning service in the areas of retirement planning, college funding, estate planning, buy sell agreements, executive bonus plans, deferred compensation, Long Term Care planning and survivor planning with use of Life Insurance. He is currently a board member of the Eddie Nash Foundation.  Nazih enjoys flying, playing sports with his kids and enjoys cooking.  He and his wife Paska reside in Yorba Linda, CA with their three children.

Monica Rangel born in Mexico, raised in Anaheim, CA, joined New York Life as an agent in 2006 and joined the management team in 2009.  Prior to joining New York Life she was the District Executive of the Boy Scouts of America, Business Development for Credit Union and Computer Hardware Sales person while going to school full time to Cal State Fullerton, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Business Administration and Communications.While at Cal State Fullerton Monica was a leader and played an active role in Greek life on campus. During the course of her career with NYL,  she has earned the following designation, Life Underwriter Training Charter Fellow and Certified Long Term Care Planning Consultant, as an agent, Monica qualified for Executive Council in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015. Monica is responsible for helping out in recruiting and developing financial professionals that provide financial planning service in the areas of retirement planning, college funding, estate planning, buy sell agreements, executive bonus plans, deferred compensation, Long Term Care planning and survivor planning with use of Life Insurance.  She currently serves as board member of MOM's Orange County and WISE Women Investing in Security and Education  both local 501c3 non profits whose emphasis is to help women.  A local leader of the Las Comadres a woman support group. Monica Plays a leadership role as the Volunteers for Good Coordinator for the Office a philanthropic program through the New York Life Foundation where we are able to give grants to local charities through our volunteer efforts.   Monica enjoys volunteering, doing crafts with her kids, Facebooking and working out.   Monica and husband Esteban reside in Anaheim Hills, CA with their two children.

Daxesh was born and raised in Mumbai, India.  He has a Master degree in Accounting and an MBA in Business Management and Marketing from Mumbai University.  Prior to New York Life he worked for many multinational companies such as Nestle, Novastis and Bausch and Lomb.  He moved to the United States 13 years ago and shortly after that he joined New York Life.  He has his FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 and 7 and holds the CFP®, ChFC® and LUTCF® designations.  His hobbies are swimming, chess and spending time with family.

Ted Ngo was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 4 years old.  His career in the financial industry began in 1994 when he accepted an internship at Daehan Securities in Irvine, CA and eventually worked his way up Office Manager. In 1998, he was recruited by a Pershing affiliated firm as a Retirement Plans coordinator, where he was responsible for establishing retirement plans and transferring assets over. After achieving his FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses in the year 2000, he went on to work for Morgan Stanley.  In 2004, Ted obtain his Certified Financial PlannerTM designation and decided to join his mother at New York Life to better serve the vietnamese community.  This was a perfect synergy as Ted was able to focus on providing solid investment and strategic financial planning advice while his mother focused on the insurance planning.  He is currently a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers.  Looking to give others the same opportunity he was given 22 years ago, Ted signed his Agency Associate contract with New York Life in 2016. As an Agency Associate, he is responsible for assisting with the marketing and  recruiting for New York Life’s Vietnamese Cultural Market.  And he is a Financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC, A Registerered Invesment Advisor. He currently resides in Newport Beach and is an active traveler, avid motorcyclist, and very involved with the local Vietnamese Community in Orange County, CA.

Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, Maile Oliveira began her career with New York Life in 2002 in the Greater Oregon General Office. She was appointed as Administrative Manager of the Tacoma General Office in 2004, and joined the Fullerton General Office in 2006. Maile graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. During the course of her career, she earned her Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Operations Professional designations. Maile is responsible for the supervision of 9 employees and oversight of all administrative functions in the General Office, including new business application processing and related accounting, agent contracting and licensing, and service to Agents.  She enjoys going to the beach, yoga, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

 

 
Earl Lovett

Earl Lovett, originally from Mobile, Alabama joined New York Life is 1991, and joined the management team in 2001. During the course of his career Earl qualified for Executive Council 1994, 1995 and 2001, qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)* in 2001 and was awarded the National Sales Achievement Award in 1996. Earl has an Associate of Arts; Bachelor of Arts; and certificate of merit from USC School of Business. Prior to joining New York Life, Earl was a business owner of a distribution company. Earl is responsible for administrating annual supervisory interviews and inspections, auditing field development folders, developing and distributing procedure guidelines, conducting management and agents regulatory and compliance training, complaint log handling, screening and facilitating all submission material prior to submission, works closely with the Managing Partner,  Home Office and Zone on disciplinary action issues and maintains 3010, gift and 1099 logs.   Earl is Board of Directors for the Long Beach Meals on Wheels. He and his wife, Mary, reside in Long Beach.  They have one daughter, Akemi, and a grandson, Amir.

Doug joined New York Life as an agent in 1980 after graduating from Cal State Fullerton and joined the management team in 1984. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a triple emphasis in Marketing, Management and Finance. During the course of his career, he earned the following designations: Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) , Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®). Doug is responsible for delivering the New York Life Training Program to agents, assists them in case design, provides business coaching, assists in advanced case development, supports Partners in the development of their agents, and serves as a faculty member at New York Life’s Dallas Campus. He is currently on the Board of Directors for North Orange County Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Doug is a boating enthusiast and especially enjoys water skiing, tennis, bowling, and photography. Doug and his wife also coach couples on the use of communication skills to enhance their marital relationship. Doug and his wife, Jody, live in Yorba Linda. They have two daughters, Christa and Lindsay and three grandchildren.
